Once you fill out this form for your student musician and pay your non-refundable $35 audition fee, we will email you to arrange an audition time slot.

    2022-23 Season Auditions

    Tuition for Youth Brass Choir is $1250, payable upon acceptance either in one lump sum or in two payments of $625. (Second invoice for $625 will go out on January 1, 2023.) For musicians joining us through a mid-season audition, upon acceptance into a brass choir we will bill prorated tuition of $625.

    The $35 non-refundable audition fee does not count toward tuition.

    Audition Guidelines

    Brass players please prepare:

    • One major scale in one to two octaves (according to your ability)
    • One minor scale in one to two octaves (according to your ability)
    • A two to three minute solo piece or excerpt of band music (does not need to be memorized)
    • You will be required to sightread

    Percussionists please prepare:

    • A two to three minute solo piece (does not need to be memorized) for snare drum, xylophone, or marimba
    • You will be required to sightread
